OUR 2020 OUTREACH CALENDAR IS HERE!

June is VA time at Laconia Bike Week!

June means it's time for "Bike Week" in New Hampshire at Laconia Motorcycle Week, the oldest motorcycle rally in the world! Located in Laconia, New Hampshire, Bike Week opens on June 13th and runs through June 21st.

Veterans, and current members of the U.S. Armed Forces, are encouraged to stop by VA's information center located at Weirs Beach at 208 Lakeside Avenue, Laconia, N.H., 03246, in front of the New Hampshire Veterans’ Association’s Headquarters, right across from the Mount Washington Cruises ticket station and Lake Winnipesaukee railroad station.

For the entire week, representatives from VA will be at our VA Health Care Weirs Beach Outreach Center to discuss benefits and help Veterans with enrolling into VA health care. VA will also be providing eligible Veterans with free T-shirts as well as other cool giveaways on certain days while supplies last.  Just look for our red "Did You Serve in the Military" outreach tent.

Team specialists attend events and set up tables and outreach tents to assist Veterans with applying for VA health care and to discuss other VA services and programs.

To help determine eligibility for benefits, Veterans should bring a copy of their DD Form 214, "Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty."  To learn more about eligibility for VA health care and find additional VA New England Healthcare System outreach resources, visit www.newengland.va.gov/outreach.
